Atomizer Air Floater "Pumclone"

1. Purpose

The atomized air floater, PUMCLONE (register), is especially designed and engineered for removing the emulsified fat and oil contained in the drainage of restaurants, food producing factories, oil refinery plants, motor shops, etc., efficiently requiring comparatively small installation area.
The drainage treated by this floater, PUMCLONE, can be directly discharged to the municipal sewer system provided that the sewer system is given with the sewage treatment plant.
On the other hand, floater also can be used as a pretreatment plant for high grade wastewater treatment facility to be constructed at the area where the strict regulation is applied on the wastewater drainage.

2. Performance

The performance for the case of kitchen wastewater treatment
BOD (non-soluble type) removal rate: 95-98%
Suspended solid (SS) removal rate: 90-98%
Vegetable oil and fat removal rate: 90-99%
Example of kitchen wastewater treatment
          Unit BOD Suspend solid Oil
Wastewater mg/l 276 526 206
Treated water mg/l 8 25 4

3. Characteristics

PUMCLONE consists of water pump, cyclone and injector. Taking the air by means of injector instead of compressor, the air is dispersed and atomized and dissolved into the water with the water pump especially designed. Coarse bubbles are separated by cyclone and recycled to generate finer air bubbles. Using this floatable, the bubbles two or three times finer can be obtained without air compressor and pressure vessel resulting in that it is possible to make the size of floater vessel and the area of installation smaller.
