Evaporating Concentrator

1. Special Features

Sasakura's evaporating concentrator is a combination of a efficient heat pump and a thin-film horizontal tube evaporator that achieves remarkable low energy consumption comparing with conventional concentrator. For reducing the volume of wastewater and recovery of reusable materials, Sasakura's technology solves the problems in treating various types of industrial wastewater. The evaporating concentrator is also applicable to the concentration process in many industries.

2. How VVCC Works

1. The liquid feed to the unit is taken to the evaporator where it is mixed with re-circulation fluid and sprayed over the outside of the tubes.
2. The liquid evaporates on the tubes located inside the shell under vacuum.
3. The vapor generated in the evaporator is compressed in the heat pump then flows to the evaporator tubes as heating steam.

3. Line Up

Model VVCC: Lowest energy consumption by heat pump
Model RHC: Wide application by steam ejector (thermal compressor)
Model STC: Operation with low pressure waste steam
Model FTC: Suitable for high viscosity fluid, slurry with flash evaporator
