1. Outline

This SHUSUI CF Type is the process which separates oil drops and SS in wastewater by pressurizing floatation method and considerably removes insoluble BOD and COD. The standard flowsheet is shown by Figure 1. Raw water is pressurized with pump and is fed into line mixer. In this mixer, solid-liquid mix and air dissolution are instantaneously performed with special agitating impeller. Moreover, pollutant particles are coarsened by adding coagulant. When pressure is reduced from pressurized phase, air dissolved in raw water changes to scores µm of bubbles, and solid contents are separated in the floatation tank by floating force of bubbles and are discharged after compressed and concentrated.

2. Characteristics

1) Excellent performance: SS concentration of treated water is possible to take a figure down one place. Residual oil contents are possible to be 1mg/l under.
2) Wide application: Treatment of sewage sludge and all kinds of industrial drainage
3) Low cost: Less erection cost due to compact design
4) Saving space: Due to using high performance of line mixer, the large floatation tank is needless.
