1. Outline

The material to be processed is loaded by a loader such as a pump or conveyor into the dryer whose jacket is indirectly heated by a heat medium such as steam, hot water, oil, etc.
In the dryer which is maintained in the vacuum state, the material to be processed is stirred by a special tow-stage impeller and is efficiently dried by high heat conductivity from the jacket.
Evaporated water is condensed by the heat exchanger and stored in the condensate tank. The condensate is automatically discharged by a pump when the condensate tank reaches a high level.
The material being processed in the dryer changes its state from liquid to solid as drying continues, and then it is crushed by the special impeller in the dryer. When drying is completed to the desired water content, the material is automatically discharged from the discharge port after the atmospheric pressure is restored in the dryer.
Dust generated in the latter half of drying is collected by the bug filter installed before the heat exchanger. After discharge is completed, the bug filter cloth is reverse-washed to remove filter cloth clogging.

2. Process Description

Major features of the FM dryer are as follows:
(1) Pressure reduction in the dryer increases the temperature difference between the jacket heat input temperature and boiling temperature of the material to be processed. Since the drying speed is high, drying can be achieved in a short time.
(2) Operation is easy.
(3) Since structure is provided, there is almost no odor.
(4) The unit is simple and compact.
(5) Easy-to-handle dry sludge is generated.

3. Performance

The processed volume is in the case that general industrial waste water sludge is drier from 85% to 25% of water content.
Since the unit performance varies depending on the material shape, the optimum type should be selected after the test with our experimental machine.

4. Application

The FM dryer is an epoch-making vacuum dryer developed based on our long technology and experience for the high-performance flow type mixer.
The applicable range is very wide - for all of liquid and muddy wastes.
In the past, we supplied the dryer for processing of organic sludge, inorganic sludge, ferrite waste liquid, alkali waste liquid, fishery waste, cattle blood, paint dust, etc. and any other materials can be processed.

5. Others

We have the experimental machines (FMD20, 75, 150) in our FMD experimenting yard. We recommend testing with our experimental machine to determine the type to be purchased.
