Catalytic Decomposer of Dioxins in Flue Gas1. Outline
We offer the catalytic decomposer of dioxins as reduction system of dioxins in flue gas. This system decomposes dioxins in flue gas by Titania-Vanadium catalyst. We carry out the engineering work including layout planning, design, procurement and construction.
2. Advantages
1. The device is compact and suitable to install at existing incinerator. It requires short construction period.
2. The catalyst has high dioxins decomposition performance at lower temperature range of 180-200ºC, therefore reheating is not required.
3. The catalyst decomposes dioxins into harmless substances such as water, carbon dioxide and hydrogen chloride.
4. No additional operation is required.
5. Expected life of the catalyst is 3 to 10 years, and no maintenance is required in that period.
6. Since the catalyst does not adsorb dioxins but decomposes them, no secondary treatment is required.
3. Performance

4. Application
Decomposition/Removal of dioxins and NOx as below mentioned in flue gas exhausted from the following facilities.
- MSW incinerator
- Industrial waste incinerator
- Production facilities in various field
- Boiler
- Gas turbine
- Cremator
5. Others
The catalyst adopted to this device has been developed for de-NOx and then dioxins removal by a certain improvement, and has the following advantages.
1. High conversion efficiency
2. Applicable for dirty gas
3. High resistance to SOx
4. High resistance to alkali metals
5. Long life
6. De-NOx can be carried out simultaneously by injection of reductant agent such as ammonia.
