AW Gas Adsorber1. Purpose
The AW gas adsorber is designed and engineered for removing noxious gas and odors in exhaust gases by means of adsorbents, which are impregnated with acids, alkalis and catalysts, respectively, to increase equilibrium adsorption content, thus resulting in almost the same operating cost as that for the chemical cleaning method often used heretofore.
2. Performance
Alkaline gases such as ammonia, acidic gases such as hydrogen sulfide and neutral gases such as methyl sulfide can be removed by the use of acid-impregnated charcoal, alkali-impregnated charcoal and catalyst-impregnated charcoal with up to 99.9% or larger efficiency.

3. Characteristics
In the case of the gas treatment under the same conditions, the amount of adsorbent can be reduced to 1/3-1/5, thus making it easy to remove or insert the adsorbent
The adsorbent in the form of carriage causes no dust emissions from the adsorbent at the time of is being removed or inserted.
The adsorbent with large equilibrium adsorption content allows the use of thinner packing, which in turn reduces the cost or replacing the packing and also saves the fan power due to its reduced pressure loss.
