Compact De-Dioxin System (CDS)

1. Purpose

This CDS system functions to effectively remove dust, HCl, SOx, Hg, Dioxins etc. from flue gas simultaneously by means of the Dry system. This CDS system has the Gas Cooler and the Reactor in upstream of the Bagfilter, and obtains good performance.

2. Performance

(1) Compact as one facility.
(2) No need of maintenance space in vertical side and small space in horizontal side. And easy to enlarge in size.
(3) Application of Gas-Air heat exchanger. Capability of waste heat recovery.
(4) Higher efficiency due to uniform mixing and milling of rough dust/agent material.
(5) Many reference result in EU.

3. Commentary

This system has equivalent and more efficiency to the conventional vertical filterbag system, and is composed by the gas cooler and the reactor .
Gas cooler, horizontal tube gas-air heat exchanger, cool the inlet gas temperature to suitable one. On the other hand, heated air can be used for preventing the white fume. In the Reactor (rotary dust mill), gas and agent (Ca(OH)2, special agent, active carbon etc.) are well mixed by ceramic ball. Agent surface is renewed by milling, and then acid neutralization is more effective.

Waste Incineration Plant (Gas volume: 29410m3N/h)
Dust: inlet 8.33g/m3N, outlet 20mg/m3N less
HCl: inlet 700ppm, outlet 70ppm less
SOx: inlet 80ppm, outlet 30ppm less
Dioxin: inlet 10ngTEQ/m3N, outlet 0.5ngTEQ/m3N less
