Deodorizer1. General
Based on the method to deodorize malodorous gas through its chemical reaction with chemicals, this is an wet-type deodorizer with a mechanism in which gas and liquid touch in a hydrophilic wetted net, exhibiting high performance in a wide range of air density from low to high. Element forming the wetted net are made of a special compound resin having high liquid-tenacity and high porosity, which deodorize components with high efficiency and reduce operation costs of the system.
2. Features
1) Special wetted net are filled in a regular order, providing very high performance of the system.
2) According to gas composition, many chemical solution can be fed in an integrated manner, saving the installation space and materializing a compact system.
3) The system can process large amount of air and also exhibits high performance in processing malodorous gas of low density.
4) The system is of a simple and compact construction not requiring complicated control, enabling very easy maintenance and servicing.

3. Process (Refer to flow sheet)
In the first stage cleaning, alkaline malodorous gases such as ammonia and trimethylamine are adsorbed and absorbed from malodorous gas collected into the main duct using sulfuric acid. In the second stage cleaning, acid and neutral malodorous gases such as hydrogen sulfide and methyl sulfide are absorbed with the mixture of caustic soda and sodium hypochlorite, and processed gas is discharged through top of the system as purified gas. Lean solution is automatically controlled with pH and ClO meters ensuring steady deodorization effects.
