LAMELLAR MIST SEPARATOR
1. Purpose
EDP-200-30V ASSEMBLY
This apparatus solves an urgent problem of many industries, in a simple and economical way. It is mainly used to separate liquid droplets suspended matter and mists from waste gases generated from the industrial plants, with or without recovery of sub-stances separated.
2. Performance
Several hundred units of this Lamellar Mist Separator have been so far supplied to various industries with high reputation.
A special element for separation; so-called "LAMELLAR" is built in the inside of this separator and the collecting pocket ( negative pressure zone ) fitted up on the Lamellar becomes the negative pressure when the gas presses over it, by which the mist in the gas is stucked into the collecting pocket and never spread again, so that high separating efficiency is gained.
(1) High separating efficiency
While the separating efficiency depend on many factors in a respective case, separating efficiency of 99.8% or more can be achieved.
(2) No clogging
There is no clogging for the gas containing dust, as the mist is separated by using the inertia force and whirl flow in this mist separator. This mist separator can be fitted with a cleaning device for separation of mist containing very adhesive dust.
(3) Low pressure loss
Even in case of high velocity the gas the pressure loss is very low, since the lamellar have less resistance in their construction.
(4)Small installation space
This separator can be used with high velocity of gas and installation space required is small, since the cross sectional area of passage are in inverse proportion to the velocity of gas.
(5)Low installation cost
Due to its simple design, the small space and high velocity, the installation cost and the energy required is much lower than in the case of similar separating process.
